Blueberries have become an increasingly popular fruit over the last decade and they are now the second most popular berry fruit purchased, overtaking raspberry sales a few years ago. As a consequence, our growers have stepped up their production to meet this increasing demand to provide locally produced fruit for British consumers.
Our blueberries are grown from Essex to Scotland. Some are grown in soil although an increasing number are grown in inert substrate under tunnels.
We grow a range of modern varieties, including Driscoll’s® Barbara Anne™, Driscoll’s® Sweet Jane™, Top Shelf, Last Call, Sekoya™ Grande and most important of all, Sekoya™ Crunch, our premium blueberry variety.
Our blueberries are available from mid/late-June to September.
